To create this typeface I designed it so that the x-height of the upper and lowercase glyph set are uniform to resemble natural handwritten letters. The typeface has a short and wide stature to appear differently from a traditional Sans Serif typeface. I was inspired to create letters that were reminiscent of the Art Deco period where the low crossbar was distinct prominently in the capital “A” in typeface designs such as Mostra Nuova, Neutraface, ITC Anna, Eagle and MVB Bovine. Instead of applying it to a few letters I intended to designed all letters to resemble the capital “A” with a larger width. For creating the numbers, lowercase letters and punctuation I reinstated the short and wide stature of the Uppercase letters.
